Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus
- Proven experience of minimally 5 years as a Financial Analyst or similar role in the fintech industry or related field
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to diverse audiences
- Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and integrity
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the company’s performance, including but not limited to revenue trends, cost analysis, profitability, and financial projections
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency improvement
- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a regular basis for internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to accounting standards
- Variance Analysis: Analyse variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, investigating underlying causes and providing actionable recommendations to management
- Strategic Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives, such as product launches, market expansions, and investment opportunities
- Risk Management: Assess financial risks and opportunities, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor key financial metrics to safeguard the company’s financial health
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in financial operations
- Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned by the Finance Director, contributing to the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives
