POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Finance Department is looking for a regular full-time Financial Analyst to support the treasury and financing area through financial modelling, analysis and regulatory work. The position will also assist with the development of financial strategies and support the annual accounting and reporting process as it relates to treasury services. You will recommend business process improvements and prepare a variety of financial reports and statements and assist other Finance staff as required.

The successful applicant will:

  • Think strategically and see work through to completion.
  • Solve problems through financial analysis and forecasting and model scenarios for the future.
  • Have a sound knowledge of treasury, accounting and reporting principles and practices.
  • Be able to prepare a variety of statistical and financial reports using related software.
  • Be proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning software, Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
  • Have a passion for performance analysis, treasury management and shaping policy.
  • Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will have a CPA designation or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with JD Edwards or an Oracle financial system is an asset.
