Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for consolidation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS for over 55 Group companies
- For the business group management, you analyze and prepare financial information and create simulations and presentations
- For the operational and strategic planning, you prepare the budget balance sheet, the consolidated income statement and you calculate significant KPIs
- You create, develop and implement Group-wide guidelines for IFRS accounting and advise Group companies on special accounting issues – in accordance with IFRS and HGB
- For M&A and other special projects, you contribute your finance and controlling expertise
- You are responsible for the valuation of equity investments
- In your role, you operate as interface to controlling, reporting, Shared Service Centers, Group companies, financial accounting and Internal Audit
- You are the business group’s central contact person for the auditors of all Group companies
Qualifications:
- You hold a degree in economics (or a comparable degree with additional qualifications in business administration)
- In the field of consolidation, you have at least 3 years of specialist professional experience
- You can provide in-depth knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting (HGB)
- A basic understanding of company law and tax requirements is part of your skillset
- You have working experience with consolidation software, ideally with Hyperion Financial Management
- In addition to a high degree of initiative and motivation, you work independently, well-structured and offer high analytical and conceptual skills
- You are characterized by flexibility, the ability to work in teams as well as a high sense of responsibility
- A convincing appearance and very good communication skills in German and English round off your profile
