Generations Healthcare is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision, provides review, trending analysis and support to financials. This position also requires due diligence on potential acquisition opportunities, and other business opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level), Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong accounting knowledge specifically in financial analysis and financial reporting as well as internal controls.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work efficiently and accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Strategic analysis skills are critical in this position with strong emphasis to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance.
  • Three to five years of financial analysis experience.
  • NetSuite and NSPB experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred but not required.
  • Experience in creating financial projection models with assumptions, and financial analysis of operational results, budgets, and other metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support in the annual budgeting process as directed.
  • Experienced in creating financial statement projections for Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cashflows.
  • Operational cost analysis, including ad hoc projects as requested by Sr. Management.
  • Consulting to other functional areas, completes ad hoc reporting for the organization.
  • Interacts with Administrators and Business Office Managers of facilities, researching and responding to financial statement questions.
  • Involvement in the financial analysis of potential acquisitions and responsible for the financial statement review of all newly acquired facilities.
  • Performs analysis on various revenue and expense accounts; research variances and communicates as appropriate.
  • Champions change and continuous process improvements
