Description:

architecture, interior design, masterplanning and heritage projects and bringing over 100 years of
experience, we design and deliver innovative, award-winning projects across multiple sectors.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Director of
Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing various elements of project
accounting and financial accounting.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Third Level Qualification with a number of years’ experience in a similar role
  • Part Qualified Accountant
  • Must have strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • A team player with a willingness to assist within the department where needed
  • Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Project Accounting

  • Issuing monthly sales invoices for a number of director groups
  • Issuing statements and chasing debtors
  • Debtor reporting by client group
  • Ensuring all timesheets within the director group are kept up to date
  • Managing any Sub Consultants on projects
  • Managing the project billing forecast within the costing system
  • Assistance with resource plans and project costing
  • Accrued and deferred income calculations on a quarterly basis

Financial Accounting

  • VAT returns – bi-monthly return for all companies
  • VIES/RTD returns
  • Monthly withholding tax reconciliations
  • Capital expenditure analysis and HR & IT spend budgeting and review
  • Assistance with monthly management accounts
  • Accounts Payable cover
  • Managing credit cards
  • Adhoc duties as required
