JOB SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst is responsible for evaluating company financial performance, providing insights, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting the eCommerce and Marketing business units. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing department level budgets, assisting revenue forecasting and planning, and preparing financial reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 1-3+ years of FP&A or similar experience.

• Ecommerce industry experience highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in financial modelling
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
• Prior experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and/or other business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus, but not required.

• Financial Analysis:
• Work closely with eCommerce and Marketing business partners to ensure correct and timely reporting on business performance.
• Evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and help assess the financial health of the eCommerce and Marketing organizations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections to provide continued insight into departments’ financial performance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing department business owners to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
• Review financial monthly forecasts and assist the eCommerce and Marketing teams in preparing future monthly forecasts.
• Reporting and Presentation:
• Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and analysis to key stakeholders within the eCommerce and Marketing departments.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly Board level reporting packages as necessary.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing teams regularly to provide business analysis and decision support.
• Work closely with budget owners to ensure accurate financial reporting during month-end close process.
