POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Finance Analyst supports VP IT, VP Legal and Director FP&A for Thermofisher’s APJ business. The role is responsible for Operating Expenses management and control for the APJ region and partners with the VPs for IT and Legal in the region. He / She works extensively with APJ & Country Function leaders and Country FP&A teams across APAC in terms of finance planning and analytical workstreams including:

  • Monthly Forecast
  • Monthly / Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Annual Operating Plan
  • 5 Year Strategic Plan
  • Strategic Initiatives and Projects

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • >5 years of relevant experience in FP&A in an MNC environment
  • Good analytical skills and highly proficient in excel
  • Capability of multi-tasking and prioritizing projects/tasks
  • Comfortable with communicating with senior management
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Result oriented, able to collaborate with multifunction teams and drive for results
