ABOUT THE ROLE
In this pivotal role as Financial Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Laerdal’s dynamic financial team in Stavanger, Norway.
This position offers a remarkable opportunity to play a vital operational role by working in close partnership with our respected product teams. Your contributions will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our entire business operation within Products and Technology. As a key driver of success, you will assume responsibility connected to development of systems and processes to ensure financial monitoring and support financial initiatives. Through these initiatives, you will have an impact on the company’s financial effectiveness and strategic growth.

SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Be in close collaboration with the Product & Technology team leaders to identify, support and prepare financial initiatives and monitor their implementation and effectiveness
- Prepare monthly financial reports, performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial development
- Conduct cost analyses to identify cost drivers and trends within operational processes
- Participate in the development, implementation and execution of budget and forecast processes
- Assist with business cases and investments, and monitor the performance
- Be a key support person regarding financial management of projects and activities, including following up on budget processes and cost controlling
- Assist with the development and implementation of new systems and the automation of processes
WHO WE ENVISION WOULD FIT THE ROLE
- 1-4 years of experience working as a consultant (auditor) to or in a finance department or equivalent
- Master’s degree within Business Administration/ Economics or Bachelor’s degree with extended level of experience
- Data modelling skills with experience within Excel, PowerPoint and preferably PowerBI
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English. Norwegian or Scandinavian language skills are a plus
