For Abbott Rapid Diagnostics GmbH in Cologne we are looking for a Financial Analyst (m/f/d)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent in English
- Degree level and/or accountancy qualification
- At least 7 years working in Finance or similar environment in international organisation
- Sales finance and/or marketing finance experience strongly recommended
- Strong communication skills - oral, written, and interpersonal
- Ability to present financial data and concepts to management and non-financial personnel
- Advanced proficiency with financial systems and tools (PowerOn, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, Salesforce.com, Qlikview, PowerBI Applications)
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This position reports into the Finance organisation of the Cardiometabolic Business Unit within the Rapid Diagnostics Division of Abbott. Reporting to the FP&A Controller for CM International, the position supports all aspects of financial planning and analysis and accounting related to the CM commercial operations in the DACH & Benelux region including analysis to support key growth and profitability programs. Financial planning activities include annual plan, regular LBE’s, and capital planning. Accounting activities include the monthly close, variance analysis, internal management reporting, and monthly reporting of results versus benchmarks including prior year, Plan and LBEs. The position provides financial support to the Cardiometabolic Regional Commercial Director for DACH & Benelux.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The Regional Finance Analyst will be responsible for:
Provision of full Finance/FP&A support to the DACH & Benelux Commercial region and leadership team in the region; The delivery of a wide range of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly data analysis and reporting schedules/templates; developing centralised models to create actuals, forecast and plan analyses across P&L categories (including Revenue, COGS, Margin, and S,G&A expenditure) to support the Global (OUS) Cardiometabolic International business.
