Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Financial Analyst will play a critical role in analysing and optimising our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for collecting and interpreting data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect data from various manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Analyse production data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing metrics and dashboards to monitor performance.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Work closely with production teams to implement changes and track progress.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and recommend corrective actions.

Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on manufacturing performance.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key performance indicators.

Project Management:

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at process optimisation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement process changes.
  • Track and report on project status, timelines, and outcomes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate should have experience in a medium to large sized manufacturing industry driven through KPI management.
  • Experienced working within a fast paced, high pressure environment with high growth aspirations.
  • The successful candidate will be a strong leader who is willing to step outside of the barriers of Finance and can demonstrate experience where this skill set has successfully delivered business improvement.
  • A minimum of 2 years post qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) is required.
