The role of the Financial Analyst within RTR is to provide management reporting and transaction support to the MCBC business entities. The role will play a key supporting role in helping the entities’ finance teams deliver a timely financial close, financial forecasting and decision support to the commercial and supply chain functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides data analytics and transactional support to the Finance Business Areas
  • Assists in period end close duties including journal posting, reconciliations
  • Prepares key monthly reports to support key commercial or supply chain decision making
  • Gathers data for and uploads forecasts to business systems; performs checks to ensure accuracy of uploaded data
  • Provides variance analysis vs. budget, flex budget, previous forecasts and prior year
  • Identifies and implements improvement ideas for standardizing the process
  • Creates and updates the working procedures periodically
