Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to be part of our Organisational Development Command team, located at the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn. The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing proactive business and financial performance information and analysis to assist in the management of budgets and to promote efficient use of funds within the Organisational Development Command, NSW Police Force. The position assists with the design, development and implementation of reporting systems and analyses the information provided from these sources and others in relation to financial performance achieved within the Organisational Development Command. The position is involved in analysis of all aspects of financial performance, including current performance and plans and actions taken to ensure future levels of performance. The role will provide strategic and operational financial analysis and advice in relation to several organisationally significant and high value projects, as well as Academy BAU operations.
This role has been created on a temporary basis for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension, subject to approval.
The NSW Police Academy is a secure location with onsite facilities including a café and gym available to employees. The Academy is within an easy commute of Canberra and the Southern Highlands. Occasional travel to the Sydney metropolitan area will be required as part of the role.
