Under the supervision of the CFO, the Financial Analyst is responsible for performing a comprehensive analysis of capital expenditures in projects, communicating corrective actions to stakeholders, preparing financial analyzes and expenditure reports investment per project.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA),
- 3 to 5 years of relevant business experience,
- Excellent command of MS Office Excel,
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written),
- Ability to communicate clearly,
- Ability to simplify the information
- Ability to work as a team,
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment,
- Demonstrated rigor and precision to meet tight deadlines,
- Sense of priorities, resourcefulness, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Build reports and rigorously analyze performance indicators (KPIs, defect rates, inventory variances, direct labor analysis, etc.);
- Identify cost savings opportunities;
- Act as an advisor to the managers of the departments responsible for their costs (collect the information necessary to establish annual financial forecasts, analyze them and explain the variances, according to the authorized budget);
- Participate in the development of cost monitoring and performance reporting for our factories;
- Participate in maintaining the cost price and improving it (working in partnership with the industrial engineering team for cost revision);
- Participate in monthly closing processes (inventory and regularization entries, analysis of financial statements);
- Participate in standardization and continuous improvement projects within the finance department and suggest innovative ideas/initiatives;
- Analyze financial performance and evaluate the profitability of the company’s new projects or initiatives;
