Description:

If you’re a skilled Financial Analyst, Robert Half has a job for you. Are you looking for work as a Financial Analyst? In this position, you would have the opportunity to become a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This position would involve conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, you’re a good fit for this position. This position’s duties will also include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity and is located in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.

  • Work next to cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
  • Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
  • Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making
  • Flexible individual capable of handling large amounts of information and managing expectations
  • Assemble and overview forecasting reports
  • Power monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
  • Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance
  • Contribute to weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
  • Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide decision making support
  • Discover the root causes of internal and external facts that are influencing performance and outcomes
  • Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
  • Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience recommended)
  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
  • Anti-Fraud experience preferred
  • Knowledge of KYC AML
  • Comprehensive knowledge of anti money laundering
  • Deep understanding of Fraud Investigation
  • Adeptness in Excel Formulas
  • Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
  • Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
  • Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
