Description:
Robert Half is partnering with a fast growing organization looking to add a Financial Analyst to their Ottawa location. This is a full-time/permanent position on site.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, financial planning and analysis
- Strong knowledge of excel
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to research information and develop a solution and/or recommendation

Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations to reduce cost
- Assist with bid scoring and risk analysis and cash flow etc.
- Validate project monthly closure by reviewing and posting related entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
- Conduct monthly reviews on the project’s earnings and expenditures
- Develop and maintain written project policies and procedures
- Contribute to project planning and support as required
- Perform variance analysis, KPI review
- Consolidate and analyze financial data
- Perform fixed assets continuity schedule and other various monthly reconciliation and journal entries
- Participate in special projects and support the budget and forecast preparation
- Identify issues and proactively initiate analyses/solutions
- Work on implementation of a variety of projects as needed
