YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

5 + years related experience working with multiple stakeholders
Proficient working experience in large ERP Systems like Oracle, Peoplesoft or SAP
Strong experience with AP, Cashflow, G/L, Asset Mgmt and Masterdata
Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools
Designation is preferred
Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar

Responsibilities:

There’s a need for a proven project professional to work as a Business Analyst via Robert Half. This role is with a company in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry. The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing system support to the finance team. The Business Analyst will support users in various modules related to AP, Cashflow, G/L, Asset Mgmt and Masterdata. The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders to identify key changes required to systems and will in turn work closely with IT teams to ensure proper design of any changes. The Business Analyst will evaluate the impact of any changes to ensure accounting standards are followed.
Responsibilities
Oversee financial and operational modeling to help drive sound business decisions
Aid in driving requirements and implementation for financial planning and business intelligence systems
Report on financial results communicating trends, risks, opportunities to the leadership team
Aid in driving company innovations, pushing boundaries beyond conventional forecasting
Collaborate with leadership to develop financial forecasts and set performance benchmarks, applying business judgment and financial insights to assist with decisions that align capital and resource allocation within the company budget
