Position Summary
Jacobs provides dynamic management consulting and advisory services to a variety of clients including Federal, Provincial/State governments, and the private sector. Our consulting practice engages with clients at all levels to develop and implement sustainable and efficient financial and commercial risk management strategies. This role reports to a Senior Consultant, Operations Manager, or Director.
- Responsibilities include assisting in the financial, commercial, and risk analysis activities associated with major projects/programs
- Provide input into program/project risk including Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA) and cost due-diligence
- Support senior staff in all aspects of related consulting activities
- Provide support during client work sessions including developing presentations, documentation and assisting with meeting logistics
- May manage tasks/work streams to meet deadlines within constraints of budget, scope and available resources
- Contribute to the analysis and communication of project findings
- Produce high quality, client-ready deliverables
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives
- May participate in marketing and sales initiatives with new and existing clients
- May participate in asset assessments or inventories
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 5 years related experience is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required
- Financial & Commercial Risk Analysis for Major Projects/Programs
- Advanced experience in MS Office Suite and MS Project is required
- Outstanding analytical, modelling/forecasting, and problem-solving skills are required
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Strong presentation skills are required
- Being a self- starter and a strong team player is required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly on the job are required
