We currently offer the following position, that can be based either at our HQ in Wetzlar with a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days home based) OR remotely in Spain or Italy with the request to travel to Wetzlar anytime is needed (especially during the onboarding phase):

Responsibilities:

  • Drive, develop and optimize our global financial compliance setup for our three businesses Leica Microsystems, Leica Biosystems, and Mammotome, with 70 legal entities and approximately $2.5B revenue
  • Overseeing all financial compliance and internal controls (incl. SOX) related topics from planning to controversy, process optimization and risk assessment
  • Driving Leica´s Balance Sheet Review program (Internal Audit) as well as an adaptive training agenda
  • Maintaining policies, guidance and documentation in close cooperation with the respective local finance teams
  • Acting as point of contact for all relevant inquiries
  • Business partnering and close collaboration with our Financial Controllers worldwide
  • Contributing in cross-functional projects
