$77,000 - $100,000 yearlyResponsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of New York Life’s insurance products, including life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care insurance, and annuities, and effectively communicate their features and benefits to clients.
  • Present insurance proposals to clients, explain policy details, answer their questions, and guide them through the application and enrollment process.
  • Provide ongoing support and service to clients, including policy reviews, updating coverage as needed, addressing any policy-related inquiries or concerns, and ensuring their financial protection needs are met.
  • Engage in networking activities, attend industry events, and leverage personal and professional networks to prospect potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and sales techniques through training programs and professional development opportunities provided by New York Life.

Qualifications:

  • Exhibit a client-focused approach with the ability to cultivate long-term relationships. The ability to understand clients’ needs, empathize with their concerns, and provide personalized solutions is crucial.
  • While a specific degree is not always required, a background in finance, business, or a related field can be beneficial. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the financial services industry is often valued.
