Revenue team’s purpose is to own the TB & Corporate Finance revenue and Balance Sheet control processes end to end. Team is accountable for end to end revenue and Balance Sheet control for the LOBs for month end including Analytical Review, APRA reporting, Group reporting and BSOR.
The role is part of the Financial Control (FC) community of practice with principal general accountabilities being:
Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
Implementation and monitoring of the Group’s accounting policies and internal control frameworks
Integrity of the numbers by delivering accurate, reliable and timely financial information
Driving Future of Finance simplification agenda, ensuring consistency with objectives and a focus on continuous improvement
Embedding a robust governance culture
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Institutional ex-Markets revenue related accounting and reporting services to support the onshore finance control teams including the provision of accurate and timely financial information and ensuring that all processes and reporting obligations are adequately met
Deliver preparation tasks for country agnostic processes e.g. journals, recs etc.
Responsibility to maintain financial integrity and controls in revenue-related hub processes
Deliver end to end accountability for country agnostic processes e.g. journals, recs etc
Develop process expertise but maintain flexibility across processes within Revenue
Ensure quality at source by implementing process level controls
For LOB POC roles
Responsible for review of holistic controllership activities e.g. analytical review for revenue prior to submission to onshore
Coordinate across CoEs for end-to-end view of designated LoB
Attend monthly governance meetings with designated onshore teams
Ensure adequate context retention

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
A Bachelors’ university degree and be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
Professional experience in financial services roles
Solid working knowledge of financial control within a financial services environment
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Experience in presenting finance matters, including issues and resolutions to stakeholders
