Description:
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Senior role, minimum requirement 10 years; ideally accounting firm background followed by some time in industry.
- Completed education in business administration or finance & accounting (bachelor’s or master’s degree).
- Accounting qualification an advantage.
- Sound knowledge in US GAAP, IFRS and German GAAP.
- Ability to work with complex data and identify key issues.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong in communication, ability to communicate across cultures.
- Highly motivated.
- Solution and team oriented.
- Salesforce and small team lead experience is of advantage.
- Safe handling of MS Office.
- Fluent English language skills spoken and excellent English written skills.

Responsibilities:
- Leading ChartWorld Accounting Team, operate within Teledyne’s Maritime Division Global Finance Team.
- Monitor local payroll accounting and credit collection.
- Preparation of monthly internal reporting profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow reporting and forecasting for Group reporting under US GAAP.
- Support in effective performance tracking, analysis and reporting (actual vs. budgets/ vs. previous years).
- Monitoring VAT/ VIES/MOSS/Z4 submission.
- Preparation of the monthly Group Reports including supplementary analysis.
- Manage budget preparation and comparison.
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts under local GAAP (IFRS or German GAAP) and tax filings.
- Assist in Transfer Pricing Documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors/consultants/tax advisors.
- Monitor corporate requirements.
- Assist in local tax filings/ reply in local requests from authorities.
- Provide and implement recommendations for improvements to internal controls and policies.
- Proactively searching for solutions to occurring problems.
- Assist in resolution of complex cases with clients when CR/Sales located in Germany.
