WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

  • Experience as a Financial Controller or Accountant – CA/CPA Qualified
  • Ability to work with Senior Managers in compiling and presenting financials to the Board of Directors
  • Understanding of accounting, legislative & regulatory issues, and tax planning
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to strategic growth opportunities
  • Experience in the Property Sector as well as how to raise capital outside of traditional lines of credit would be beneficial
  • A highly-motivated, self-starter with the capability to work autonomously and independently
  • Strong initiative, problem solving skills, and relationship management capabilities

Our client are a financial services business part of a larger financial group, new in the market but long term in the industry. They offer financial services designed for investors looking to strategically diversify their portfolios through real estate, property, equity and asset investment strategies.
They bring together time-tested investment concepts to offer a comprehensive investment method that leverages the tangible value inherent in each. By concentrating on a broad spectrum of investment opportunities and projects, they are specifically structured to deliver consistent returns to investors, aiming to mitigate risk while optimizing returns.
As a Financial Controller with this growing new business you will be responsible for all things Finance and a core part of the leadership team. Whilst you will need to call on your broad range of expertise, this is a role where you can truly make an impact with a growing business and be a part of its success, with a long term opportunity to be involved in the executive team.
We are looking for a driven individual to join an experienced and collaborative team, eager to take the role on and make it their own. The successful candidate will have experience as a Financial Controller or Accountant, with experience in the property sector being beneficial but not mandatory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage the business planning process holistically and help drive the company’s financial strategy and goals
  • Take responsibility for cashflow and management, budgeting, investments, insurance and financial reporting
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities
  • Deliver a range of monthly management reporting to internal stakeholders, monitoring business performance, results and presenting key insights
  • Work with senior managers to develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company assets, liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
