Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
Reporting to the CFO, you will be an experienced financial controller providing leadership and direction to a small finance team. You will assume responsibilities for the business interfaces with respect to all legislative policies, standards, and procedures. You will be a friendly, approachable, team player who is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and related commentary.
- Manage financial reporting and accounting in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, including the preparation of annual reports and statutory financial statements, and coordinate with the external audit function.
- Collaborate closely with the management or executive teams to communicate reports and analytical findings.
- Lead and support the Management Team throughout the budgeting process.
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and supervision of accounting systems.
- Conduct regular reviews of all systems and operations to guarantee optimal efficiency and adherence to company management systems and legislative mandates.
- Provide leadership and management for a compact accounting team.
- Possess a good understanding of, and provide support for, the payroll function.
