THE TEAM YOU’LL BE PART OF

Nokia Technologies Finance team in Finland leads Nokia Technologies’ accounting and business controlling processes and activities to support Nokia’s world class licensing business. Currently our scope of finance activities is to operate business through Finnish TECH entity plus some smaller foreign legal entities. This team interacts closely with Nokia Technologies Business contacts and other stakeholders within Nokia group.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You are expected to have a solid understanding of both business controlling and financial accounting and to be familiar with IFRS. Experience or recent exposure with IPR and/or licensing business is seen as an advantage. Your tasks will include accounting support for deal financials and finance support & OPEX control for dedicated TECH teams. Your responsibility is to ensure correctness of monthly financials and forecasting as well as annual target setting for dedicated teams. You will participate to Period End activities and many periodical reporting requirements, e.g. analyzing TECH financial data from multiple sources. You will report to Head of Business Group Accounting.

You have:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
• Master of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Engineering.
• An excellent understanding of financial accounting, business controlling, knowledge of the IFRS associated accounting standards.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience in managing intellectual property financials is seen as a bonus.
• Experience in working with multiple finance tools (SAP ByD and other SAP platforms, HFM, Redbox)
• Master knowledge of Microsoft Excel with advance functions (also other Office tools and Think-Cell). Familiarity with BI Solutions is also seen as a bonus.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, proficient Finnish skills also considered as an advantage.
• Ability to work with and present to business group senior team leaders.
• Ability to execute multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with excellent follow-up skills.
• Analytical, active in seeking and sharing information.
• Proactive, assertive, intellectually curious, and creative approach to problem solving.
