ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client within the entertainment industry is seeking a designated Financial Controller for a period of 3 months. As the finance and accounting lead, you will work closely with the CEO to maintain the financial records and work on process improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work for a company that values your financial insights and expertise.

SKILLS:

CPA (BC) or CPA (Canada) is preferred.
Outstanding relevant financial experience spanning at least 5 years.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Solid technology and analytical abilities.
Strong knowledge of ASPE is preferred.
Familiarity with the filming or gaming industry would be considered an asset.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to suggest areas for improvements in processes and information.

• Responsible for full-cycle accounting and preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Prepare and review semi-monthly payroll
• Reconcile royalty payments and preparation of monthly reports
