Financial Controller – Wexford

Purcelloleary are recruiting for a small to medium-sized company based in Wexford. Our client is a continuously progressive company who work between Dublin and Wexford.
This role is on site and our client is looking for an accountant who has worked with a similar company through a growth period.

THE ROLE OF THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER INCLUDES:

• Develop financial forecast plan & maintain throughout the year
• Ensure all revenue payments and returns are up to date
• Ensure milestone payments due from clients are identified on all Projects and invoice accordingly
• Complete check with PM on client milestone payments due prior to invoicing Ensure all payments from Company are routed through the Financial Manager
• Ensure financial information is inputted to allow budget tracking Liaise with Financial institutions on all relevant issues
• Liaise with insurance brokers on all relevant issues
• Liaise with accountants on all relevant issues Ensure payroll is completed (hours verified) Subcontractors – complete submissions of RCT Complete management of accounts by agreed date
• Track and manage all company costs and report on same to management – advise on related items e.g. accuracy of Project burden etc.
• Ensure all relevant legislation is understood and incorporated into Company procedures
• Complete credit safe check on suppliers prior to contract
• PO raised Ensure required checks are completed on all invoices prior to invoice payment Complete payment to suppliers / subcontracts in line with the payment terms

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:

ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified
6 to 8 years’ experience with a similar sized growing company
An energetic and progressive outlook
Strong organizational skill
