Eva Burrows College is seeking a Financial Counselling Trainer to join our growing Vocational Training team to equip future counsellors to make a difference in their local community. This teaching role is focused on supporting a broad range of learners as they undertake the Diploma of Financial Counselling qualification, supporting and encouraging them to achieve their learning goals.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This casual role is highly flexible offering the opportunity to work remotely and adjust work hours to meet your lifestyle (approx. 12 hours per week will be required).
The successful applicant will have work experience as a Financial Counsellor and a passion to share their knowledge and expertise with others wanting to gain the qualification or enter the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality training programs on campus, online or in the workplace in accordance with RTO procedure.
  • Source and contextualise training materials to meet the learner needs, ensuring they are engaging and meet current industry requirements.
  • Mark submitted assessments within the required timeframe and provide meaningful feedback to the learners.
  • Proactively identify, establish and build sound networks across The Salvation Army particularly within Eva Burrows College.
  • Contribute to the evaluation program of RTO activities including compilation of reports with key learnings and recommendations to be incorporated back into strategic plans and future planning.

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in supporting diverse cohorts of learners on campus and online. To be successful in this role you will require;

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Relevant Financial Counselling qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting diverse cohorts of learners, on campus and online
