Description:

Fancy joining an investment management business that’s as ambitious as you are?
A business that’s not resting on its laurels, despite already establishing itself as a market leader within its field?
Following significant recent investment, the firm is now looking to further strengthen its Compliance department with a number of new hires. Exciting times lie ahead as the business looks to build on its success to date, its ambitious growth plans making it a great time to join.
Growth creates opportunities for your development and career progression. So, this could be the start of an exciting journey for you.
Reporting into the Financial Crime Manager, you’ll assist with the firm’s Financial Crime oversight and management to prevent and detect money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing and bribery.
You’ll develop and implement policies, procedures and controls to ensure ongoing Financial Crime compliance and provide guidance and support across all business units on Financial Crime prevention.
This is a broad, hands-on role that will see you monitoring and analysing transactions, investigating and reporting suspected financial crime incidents and conducting risk assessments to identify potential financial crime risks, developing strategies to mitigate them accordingly.
You’ll have gained good experience in a 2nd Line Financial Crime role within the Financial Services arena and possess an excellent working knowledge of relevant AML regulations. Any previous investment management or wealth management experience would be advantageous as would experience of conducting financial crime investigations.
The firm is based in Bath and operates a hybrid working model that requires you to be in the office 2 days a week, working from home for the other 3.
