QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Strong background in developing and implementing procedures, processes, and operational controls.
  • Technically adept in all areas of accounting and financial management including cash flow management, financial analysis, earnings projections, budgeting, reporting, and risk assessments.
  • Expertise in monthly financial close, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements following GAAP principles.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting.
  • Strong skillset of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CASE, VSE, Gift Attainment and Reporting Standards.
  • Knowledge of NXT/Raisers Edge/Financial Edge database.
  • Understanding of Charter Agreements.
  • Familiarity with Philanthropy.
  • Knowledge of higher education institution operations.
  • Ability to supervise multiple FTEs.
  • Ability to implement and formulate processes and procedures.
