QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business / accounting / finance
  • Experience working with large data files and multiple linked spreadsheets.
  • Experience creating and working with automated MS Excel financial models.
  • Experience creating and interpreting financial analysis reports and concisely communicating the results to stakeholders.
  • Comprehensively organized and consistently productive with the ability to execute across all departmental processes.
  • Maintain and protect confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Strong knowledge of the general ledger, journal entries, and related accounting tasks
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, under pressure and still meet fixed deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision.
  • Strong time management skills, be a self-starter, and thrive in a fast-paced/deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to self-check work for accuracy, be detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgement, and use constructive criticism to improve work.
  • Process-minded with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must maintain a professional attitude and work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal
