REQUIREMENTS

We want to hear from people who have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Track record of providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Exposure to M&A activities on buy and/or sell sides advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating projects and meeting deadlines.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exposure to Xero accounting software/Spotlight Reporting
  • Experience with Power BI is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst at EIA Group, you’ll be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis for EIA’s investment entities. Your role involves coordinating annual budgets, preparing covenant reports, analysing cost centres, and managing cash flow forecasts.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

What can you expect in your day to day as a Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst?

  • Responsible for the development and management of the financial planning and analysis activities for the EIA Investment entities.
  • Ownership and coordination of the annual budget process for all controlled investment groups, including Quarterly and half year forecasts.
  • Preparation of all covenant reporting for financing vehicles
  • Cost centre reporting and input into group management reporting including identification and investigation of key variances to budget across the full P&L, supporting the investment groups to drive better cost management.
  • Operate as the main reporting & planning contact for EIA Controlled entities.
  • Preparation and management of cashflow forecasts for the investment companies.
  • Group reporting requirements and assist with board reporting.
  • Develop and support business modelling support for M&A activities as required.
