FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST

REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
• 5+ years of progressives experience in a financial reporting role
• Experience in public practice an asset
• Experience in industry an asset
• Proficient in excel and have experience preparing financial models
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Must be a self-starter and comfortable working in an autonomous environment

• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE
• Assist in coordination of the annual audit process
• Assist in the preparation and review of accurate, complete and timely Month End Financial Reporting Package
• Prepare and review accurate and complete journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
• Responsible for preparing monthly budget to actual variance analysis
• Maintain the financial, statutory and legal compliance of the Company and all related entities
• Provide support to the organization by a preparing ad hoc financial modelling
