Description:

As a Financial Risk Analyst, you manage monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and yearly reconciliations with the Finance department. This role involves daily evaluation of risk exposure, collaboration with the Product Owner for gas on new products and contracts and maintaining the link between business and finance.   • Relevant educational background (Cand.merc.fir/fin or similar)
  • Experience in financial analysis, preferably with 2-3 prior roles in the field
  • Ability to travel minimally as required

Responsibilities:

  • ecure the link between the business and the finance function, ensuring optimal use of risk capital and accurate reporting
  • Assess the portfolio composition from a financial perspective and collaborate with portfolio managers
  • Maintain liquidity forecasts
  • Perform monthly reconciliations
  • Follow up daily on P/L numbers
  • Monitor daily use of Value at Risk (VaR) within the department
  • Assist other Portfolio Managers in the gas risk management team
  • Provide plausible explanations for budget deviations and the consequences of decisions made
    You can expect occasionally travel days to attend business review meetings and collaborate with stakeholders.
