As a Financial Risk Management Intern, you will be part of a team that is responsible for identifying, measuring, and managing the financial risks of the organization. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply various risk management techniques and tools, such as:
- Consolidating Financial Risk Management Information: You will assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources. You will also help in preparing reports and dashboards that summarize the key financial risk indicators and trends for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conducting Model Risk Review: You will participate in the review of the documentation and control of the models used by the organization and communicate the review findings and recommendations to the model owners and developers.
- Engaging in Process Enhancement: You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the financial risk management processes and practices, automating and streamlining workflows. You will also provide feedback and suggestions on how to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial risk management function.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong interest and aptitude in financial risk management and quantitative analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and collaborative attitude
