Responsibilities:
As a member of the Shared Services Center (SSC) you will be part of a team-focused, fast-paced, demanding, and continuously evolving environment. The Financial Services Associate will monitor daily workflow to ensure stability, quality, and timeliness of transaction processing; approve and audit transactions generated by Account Representative IV’s in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, procurement, student employment, general ledger, capital asset management; and provide financial management, analysis, reporting, planning and budget support to applicable units. You must be able to understand and accurately determine method of procurement or payment, ensure account information on transactions, and understand impact on the financial statements. You also will be responsible for interpreting and advising on an array of university policies and procedures and assisting the Account Representative IV’s as needed. Developing and maintaining valuable and productive relationships, communicating effectively, and work closely with others to provide exceptional customer service to audiences that span all levels of the university.
