JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

Ensure all technical aspects and administrative functions within the division are adhered to. Successful execution of finance projects to ensure growth and profitability of Hollard. Conduct ongoing research into issues affecting development in business systems within Group Reporting. Work with multiple business areas and multiple teams that require deep integration of financial solutions. Ensuring that the business requirements are delivered in the implemented Group Reporting team. The ability to adapt to the requirements of the finance projects, the needs of the sponsors, its environments, and stakeholders.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ensuring all monthly, quarterly and year end deadlines are met.
  • Assisting with the quarterly board reporting and monthly group reporting on HFM.
  • Problem solver, strong communicator & relationship builder.
  • Team player, proactive, creative & innovative.
  • IFRS knowledge an advantage
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation on HFM
  • Work with business stakeholders and end users to analyze, design, develop, modify, test & train.
  • Support the IT Team in managing and guiding the finance team during close process, especially quarter and year-end close in making sure all EPM applications and interfaces are running per schedule.
  • Manage the monthly Oracle patches and work closely with the business partners to ensure timely testing, issue resolution and release of the patches to the production environment.
  • Responsible for escalation of support issues for the daily operations and enhancements of EPM applications, SmartView and their availability to end users.
  • Hands on development experience in implementing one or more Oracle technologies.
  • Solid scripting knowledge is essential for writing custom consolidations, translation logic, business rules, Data Management and EPM Automation.
  • Development experience in building metadata, business rules, data reconciliation and others.
  • Strong business experience coupled with enthusiasm, drive, and motivation to succeed.
  • Proven ability to gather user requirements, design appropriate solutions and carry them through implementation including integration and end user training.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment and to build effective work relationships.
  • Results orientation: proven ability to deliver results on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to adhere to all processes, policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Solid experience of working with EPM Consolidation using Oracle HFM, FDMEE, Hyperion Planning & Smartview.
  • Good knowledge working in Essbase.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.) or equivalent accounting experience.
