The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Systems Analyst, Oracle Cloud ERP that will support our National Center located in Dallas, TX. This role can be home based.
The Financial Systems Analyst, Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) will collaborate and interact with the Accounting/Finance/Procurement departments to ensure efficient delivery of technology projects. The position will be responsible for the support, configuration, enhancement, testing, support, and training of the finance-related business systems, in particular Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and its ancillary systems. The position will be responsible for gathering, eliciting, documenting, and presenting business requirements in clear, detailed user stories or use cases, and translating into functional requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Math or other related fields or 7+ years equivalent job experience
  • Oracle ERP Cloud experience in multiple modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Procurement, Expenses, Order Management, Subscription Management, Projects, Enterprise Contracts and Financial Consolidation
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle ERP (2 years should be from Oracle Cloud SaaS)
  • 5+ years business analysis experience, capturing requirements and documenting process flows for business applications, in particular the finance/accounting aspects of ERP systems
  • Skilled in requirements capturing and detailing techniques including user requirement functional definitions, process flows, and business gap analysis.
  • Strong problem solver that is proactive and customer-focused when delivering and supporting IT solutions
  • Effectively can analyze, scope, and prioritize product backlog
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with delivering custom reports and/or dashboards using tools such as OTBI, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, Tableau
  • Adept at writing and running SQL queries and other similar commands
  • Experience in Oracle EPM FCCS, PBCS & ARCS a plus
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with the following:
  • Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher
  • Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Fusion Analytic Warehouse

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Oracle Fusion cloud ERP configuration changes, handle customization, build Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Fusion Analytics reports, support interfaces and user training
  • Provide support on Oracle modules including Procurement, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Projects, Subscription, and Order Management
  • Provide assistance and expertise with key system processes (i.e. process of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes)
  • Drive best practices for the Oracle ERP modules to be audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant
  • Defines and executes test scripts and test scenarios
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notifies management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention
  • Works cross-functionally in analyzing, crafting, and developing business solutions
  • Provides analytical support for multiple projects simultaneously, establishes work plans and timelines, coordinates with internal and external resources
  • Develop and execute test plans for identified features, lead integration and user acceptance testing with cross-functional teams
  • Support the business process transformation initiatives to improve efficiencies around critical activities
