• Own the entire accounts payable process for our German entities
• Book various business transactions (AP, GL, Intercompany) and prepare/execute payments
• Book cash/bank reconciliations
• Assist with cash planning procedures
• Ensure account reconciliations are completed on time and open items are cleared in a timely manner, especially with the monthly reporting requests
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the Group’s internal financial processes, reporting, and control system
• Support with local statutory audit and tax filing preparations and submissions in accordance with German laws
• Interact with other internal stakeholders in accounting matters as needed
