Job title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Covering area: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Door-to-door Travel + 40h Week + Package.
ABOUT THE ROLE – Fire Alarm Service Engineer

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for Servicing and fault finding on a range of Fire Alarm Systems. Among the responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

• Servicing, Reactive Repair & Fault Finding of Fire Alarm Systems, Disable Refuge & Emergency Lighting.
• Frequent exposure to a wide variety of mainstream Fire Alarm Systems, including some closed protocol systems such as Gent etc.
• Training is provided in areas of less confidence, including manufacturer’s training.
• Sites are mainly located in Birmingham, West Midlands & Surrounding areas.
• You will be required to communicate with individuals at all levels, to build strong client relationships.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE – Fire Alarm Service Engineer

• Happy to cover the area of Birmingham, West Midlands & Surrounding areas.
• Good understanding and knowledge of relevant British Standards and regulations is required.
• Previous experience in Servicing of Fire Alarm Systems is essential to be successful for this role.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a speedy and effective manner.
• Excellent work ethic and attitude towards work, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team when required.
• Happy to take part in callout rota.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Can pass a DBS Check
