Description:

FR Consultants, an RSK Group company are seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to join the team based in a hybrid role. This is a permanent, full-time position.
FRC Consultants provide expert services for external wall surveys, internal compartmentation, and fire risk assessments to ensure complete legislation compliance. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to work remotely, ideally based in London/South to cover projects across the South but may be required to travel further afield.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in conducting Fire Door Inspector/surveyor.(Desirable).
  • Experience in conducting Fire Risk Assessor types 1, 2, 3, and 4. (Desirable).
  • Level 3/4 Certificate in Fire Safety.(Desirable).
  • Experience in Life Safety and Fire Safety.
  • Knowledge of Fire Safety Act, Building Safety Act.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with ADB, BS9999, BS9991,(Desirable)
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Experience conducting PAS 9980 surveys.(Desirable)
  • FRAEW’s (Desirable)
  • Able to complete Fire Strategies and Fire Statements.(Desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel (Requirement)
  • Membership or the IFE, IFSM, IFPO, NEBOSH, IOSH (Desirable).

Responsibilities:
