Description:
To prepare fire safety engineering design solutions and reports in accordance to the Singapore Fire Safety Engineering Guidelines 2015 and Fire Code 2013.
Applicants must possess a minimum Bachelor in Engineering with relevant working experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and or Fire Safety Engineering works.
Requisite of fire safety engineering experience for buildings which shall include:
1) Engineering Knowledge and Tools
- CFD simulation using software like FDS (NIst), ANSYS FLUENT,CFX
- CFD modelling and meshing using software like Autocad,Pyrosim, Gambit, ANSYS Meshing
- Egress and human evacuation simulation using PATHFINDER, SIMULEX, STEPS
2) Modelling experience
- Well versed with NFPA standards (NFPA13, 72, 92, 101, 5000 etc)
- Have completed fire safety engineering studies or performance based assessment.
