Description:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in addressable and conventional Fire Alarm Systems
- Fire Alarm installation :Minimum of 2 to 3 years ++ preferred
- Understanding and working knowledge of IS3218
- Electrical Trade or a Third level qualification in an Engineering discipline (electrical, E&I etc.)
- Computer literacy is essential (MS Office)
- The role in detail:
- Preventative & Corrective maintenance of the fire alarm system to agreed customer specifications.
- Service and maintain fire detection, fire suppression systems in accordance with agreed service and maintenance contracts.
- Service, maintenance and repair of Life Safety System’s, to include Fixed/Portable gas detection equipment covered by the service contract. (Training provided)
- Provide response to other LSS’s to include fire, liquid leak and Vesda.
- To forge quality customer relationships by liaising professionally with customers on site
- Proactively review and monitor your own work schedule within the team to ensure all customer expectations are met
Responsibilities:
A Fire Systems Service Engineer to join a team of 10 engineers carrying out corrective actions and Preventative maintenance on state-of-the-art fire detection systems, on site (permanent basis) with a large manufacturing client.
Candidates will oversee the installation, commission, service & maintenance of fire-alarm, gas detection and liquid leak detection systems. (Full Training provided in gas detection)
