Description:
The client is the world leading semiconductor company from USA. It is ranked as one of the “Top Best Places to Work in Singapore”. Below position is open urgently.
Position: Firmware Testing Engineer/ Storage exp (Contract – 12 months)
Location: Bendemeer
Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm
The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Execute testing of SSD on test systems as well as by using Protocol Analyzer and oscilloscope to validate functionality
- Perform debug and analysis of failures towards resolution of failures observed.
- Participate in test bug resolution and test case development.
- Participate in setting up of test environment and systems in preparation for validation
- Tabulate test results and generate report for continuous firmware health monitoring
- Complete Execution of Validation Find-Fix cycles – Continuous running Deliverable
- Performance of first pass failure analysis – Continuous running DeliverableScope of
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Basic working knowledge with Windows and/or Linux.
- Experience with embedded device testing/ data center/ data storage/ firmware testing will be preferred.
- Knowledge in Python scripting and/or experience with basic signal/power measurement equipment is preferred.
- Experience in using SATA/PCIe bus analyzers and Analog/Mixed Signal oscilloscopes would be beneficial.
- Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment.
