Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Product & Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support the 767 Quality Team in Everett, WA.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment. Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in executing lean principles to include standard work and the One Boeing Production System. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience leading teams to execute to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments, and utilizing production systems
  • Experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
  • 3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
