Description:

Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, part of the Talbot Collection are currently recruiting for a Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer.
The Leisure Club Instructor assists in the day to day running of administration in the leisure center. Assisting in the daily cleaning of Club and maintaining a safe area for members and guests. Support the sales and processing of leisure center membership.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Trainer Qualification essential
  • Experience teaching a range of classes including Spinning, Circuits, Body Pump and more.
  • Deliver Fitness Classes
  • Deal with customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner and to notify Management of these
  • Ensure the relevant items are placed in the safe on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that cash in the safe is counted and balanced and brought over to the accounts office with the relevant paperwork.
  • Ensure that all paperwork placed in the safe is processed on daily basis.
  • Update the system with renewals of membership, enter any new members on the system and keep all membership information up to date.
  • Process mailshots to members/perspective members ie. Renewal letters, promotions etc.
  • Deal with any queries over the phone or via email in relation to membership or for existing members.
  • Cover the reception desk as and when required.
  • Take appointments for gym consultations.
  • Teach Talbot Fitness classes
  • Ensure the correct levels of chemicals are used in all areas and that all safety equipment is used when handling any chemicals.
  • Assist and advise members and guests in the use of all equipment/areas of the Leisure Centre, ensuring health and safety at all times.
  • Advise guests and members and ensure they understand the rules and regulations of the Leisure Centre.
  • Carry out daily routine checks and inspections of the facilities.
  • Maintain a positive working environment in the Leisure Club
  • Any other sundry task not mentioned but within scope of the job.
