    Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for an experienced accountant to join our Financial Control team, based at our central Auckland office at Takutai Square, Britomart!
    Mō te tūranga | About the Role
    Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Financial Control, as Fixed Asset Accountant you will be primarily responsible for ensuring all aspects of the fixed assets ledger for accounting and tax is processed timely and accurately. This includes efficient and effective maintenance and management of controls, monthly processing to ledger close and respective reporting.
    The role sits within the Financial Control team, who are responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, analysis and reporting of financial performance mainly focused on month-end. From time to time, the Fixed Asset Accountant assists the Financial Control team with non Fixed Asset tasks.

We are looking for someone who brings the below skillset:

  • University and CA qualified
  • Experience in accounting role
  • Proven experience of maintaining Fixed Asset Registers
  • Working knowledge of AP and Fixed Asset modules in Oracle Fusion (desirable)
  • Strong accounting and GL knowledge
  • Advanced excel skills
