The Systems Engineer position is responsible for maintenance and provisioning of our underlying infrastructure platforms. This is a 12-month fixed-term role providing subject matter expertise for cloud, infrastructure solutions and cybersecurity. Providing support to our Digital teams by managing and supporting cloud deployments. Ensuring all IT services are properly maintained and upgraded, including backups and patching. Working with various areas of the business, while engaging with system users and other teams across Tonkin + Taylor to provide advanced technical support for server, cloud and networking issues.

  • Deploy and run digital services in Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Build, test and maintenance of T+T servers.
  • Build, test and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain documentation on infrastructure systems and devices to a high standard.
  • Assist with research, implementation and testing of new systems as required.
  • Effectively deal with technical escalations from Helpdesk team
  • Contribute to robust discussion regarding all aspects of technology and digital services and support policies and processes.
  • Be a strong team player and uphold technology and business values, standards, processes and decisions.
