We are looking for a full-time Fleet Manager to join our team. This position reports to the VP of Network Construction.

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience in Fleet Management is an asset
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
  • Class 1 or 3 driver’s license is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Mechanical knowledge is required for this role
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • High level of organization
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet short deadlines
  • Ability to work well independently and be a self-starter
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for all vehicle asset management including purchasing and selling - Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection

  • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency

  • Register and license all vehicles under their management
  • Ensure that all vehicles are compliant with the Department of Transportation

regulations

  • Utilize GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
  • Willingness to be on call for after-hours inquiries
  • Willingness to work overtime as workload requires
