We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Services Team leader in our Unplanned Fleet Maintenance Team on a permanent full-time basis.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters, the depot offers an excellent on-site café, end of trip facilities including secure bicycle storage and freshening up rooms. ABOUT YOU
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Minimum of AQF3 Mechanical Tradesmen Qualification
- Minimum 5 years post trade experience in a heavy vehicle, diverse or mining fleet background
- Ability to lead a team of employees in order to meet organisational goals and objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good business acumen
- Experience with continuous improvement/quality systems in a fleet environment.
- A sound knowledge in the operation an implementation of OHSE in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities:
As the Fleet Services Team Leader you will be accountable for overall Fleet Services customer relationship for the defined location and supporting areas. This will be achieved by management of both specialist in house maintenance teams and third-party contractors engaged in the repair, service and o/haul of Western Power owned and external customer fleet units.
