Description:

FLEXIM REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – CENTRAL MIDDLE EAST

The primary function of the job is to lead all sales engagements associated with winning and closing orders of Flexim products with customers and business partners. Responsibilities include demand creation, business development, and sales support activities for Emerson Flexim Flow Meters primarily in the United Arab Emirates and in the Sultanate of Oman.
The key focus is to drive traditional flow technology conversation and technology adoption/acceptance of the Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow products/solutions. The industries to be covered include Oil and Gas, Refineries, Terminals, Chemical / Petrochemicals, Power and Water, and others. We meet our customers’ expectations, lead pursuits efficiently, and craft profitable deals is essential to our success as an organization. This role plays a pivotal role in pursuing and securing strategic projects in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

  • Lead and support Sales engagements and project pursuit initiatives, to meet or exceed Emerson Flexim bookings and Sales objectives.
  • Own the Sales activities to collaborate closely with customers to prioritize effort, understand technology conversion opportunities, and white spaces, assemble competitive intelligence, and improve customer service. Interpret customer technical specifications and generate strategies for making offers/ implementation/ production in consultation with rest of the regional Industrial Sales Team.
  • Support other sales individuals as needed including providing vital training to sales team members and partners.
  • Maintain an accurate opportunity list and provide monthly reports and forecasts to the Sales Director.
  • Collaborate with proposal generation groups to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, and products are selected and priced competitively Participate in developing and implementing sales strategies for projects.
  • Identify new customers, applications, new product adoption, and upgrade opportunities for Flexim products to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present marketing forecasts, competitor intelligence, and country marketing plans along with the Regional Sales Director and Product Management Director
  • Drive product and factory approval processes within identified Key Accounts demonstrating the Business account leaders.
  • Work closely with other Emerson Process Management BUs to improve pull-through content and identify white spaces.
  • Improve the product, application, and industry knowledge of the customer-facing salespersons by bringing to bear the support from MEA Product and Industry BDM’s.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE?

Experience within an Instrument and Controls environment, preferably knowledge in flow instrumentation. Experience in selling sophisticated solutions.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and implement many tasks in parallel.
Demonstrates ability to optimally interact, cooperate, and communicate (i.e., must have good oral, written, and presentation skills) within a multi-layered matrix organization.

Strong industry credibility and shown success with selling measurement solutions and providing technical support is a mainstay.
